Genevieve Arlidge

In 1997, newly arrived home from a few years in Australia, I stumbled across a very early copy of the Family Grapevine and answered an advert to publish a magazine in my area. Learning new skills and working from home was exactly what I wanted – and being my own boss sounded perfect! For some years now I have been co-director of this group and I still love the friendliness, honesty, work ethic and unity of the people I work with.

I was brought up in Cobham and have watched the ‘village’ and surrounding areas change and evolve over the years. Quite a few years were spent travelling and living overseas, but ‘there is no place like home’! Time has rolled by and now as I speed towards 3 score year and 10, I felt it time to branch out from the young family focus of the Family Grapevine. Along with my colleague Nikki we have researched information for Silver Grapevine with renewed vigour and interest and are very excited about its future.
